The Musubi of the Gods

Amaterasu Omikami, the guardian deity of Iga Ueno, is said to have pioneered sericulture by putting a silkworm in her mouth and drawing out thread from it. The same deity (younger sister deity), Wakahirumehime, is said to be the deity of weaving and is known as Seoritsuhime.
Itogo has taken the sacred purified silk thread and divine weaving techniques that it has been bestowed upon, and embodied them as the sole pioneer of Musubi, Kumihimo Kumihimo.
